Great place often stop in for a slice of white. Got there at closing time & the manager me 2 for free.
Pizza arrived cold and had the texture of rubber. The garlic bread was burnt and somehow flavorless. As a Chef, I would say the dough was massively overworked leading to a disgusting chewiness, and the oven was clearly set too high for the garlic bread to be both burnt and flavorless. Delivery guy was slightly less pleasant than a Soviet Border Guard.
The female on the phone was great. Down fall is I ordered my food an hour prior to them getting it in there computer. It has been almost 2 hours and still no food. Very disappointing
Unique pizza. Grown up in Long Island I know what NY pizza is. Luna's is NOT the typical local "NY Style Pizza" wannabe. No, Luna's pizza is taken on its own terms. Try the white. Has beer and wine.
